That a Ford has been parked in our garage, and it hardly fits better than our old Windstar which could hardly fit then. :p

My mother still won't let a Ford park in her driveway. The only exception was to the Willys, and that's because it was only a FoMoCo engine and transmission.

well, uh, I did this once. Not worth it since the mirrors aren't power folding and you have to fold both of them.

Everything, apparently. I don't think dad constantly tinkering on his old Gran Torino and Mercury Cougar helped her impression, nor did the shitbox '88 Ford Taurus they purchased new. She does happen to like Toyota and GMC, but only for their trucks.

My dad used to park his '93 Dakota in the garage all the time. Then he bought a Mountaineer and kinda just started using it for the Harley. The Mustang got it one summer I think but then it became a storage unit basically and it annoys me. Although some of the stuff is for his job, the other stuff is either deck furniture or random shit that doesn't need to be in the garage.

Yay! We just cleaned ours out yesterday as well to make room for my bike and [new car]. Worst part is it's not even our junk, the landlord and previous tenants had left a bunch of stuff behind >:{

It saddens my heart to see a garage with the cars as an afterthought. Yes, I know, you don't have any place else for all the junk. Wrong, yes you do. Goodwill. They are my go to when I start accumulating too much stuff. If it can sit in a box in the garage, it should sit in a box at Goodwill.

This is a great point! It's crazy how relatively big "small" cars in the American market are when you compare them to either older versions or to current European or Asian models. This really shocked me when I saw a Honda Civic in Italy.
